Top Performers Celebrated
Colina Hosts Its 2020 Awards DayNassau, The Bahamas, January 15, 2020 – Colina Insurance Limited awarded and celebrated top performers during its annual Awards Day service held today.
Elrod Outten, Branch Manager of Colina’s Freeport, Grand Bahama office received the company’s Employee of the Year award. Over the course of 2019, Elrod made several noteworthy contributions to the organization. In particular, during Hurricane Dorian, Elrod went above and beyond the call of duty to maintain contact with team members ensuring their safety and wellbeing during the storm and helping to facilitate corporate relief efforts following the hurricane’s passage.
Outten was selected from among the company’s Employees of the Quarter for 2019 which included Shenika Rolle, Nyoshi Ward, Deangelo Conliffe, Ian McKinney and Charlene Rodgers.
Veoshe Johnson and Sandradee Henfield were also among those to receive top company awards. Johnson of the Freeport branch received Colina’s Seasoned Salesperson of the Year award for 2019 and Henfield from the Admiral’s Club attained Colina’s Executive Salesperson of the Year Award for 2019.

Awards Day was held on January 15 in the Imax theatre at Fusion Superplex which is located at the intersection of John F Kennedy Drive and Gladstone Road in New Providence. The formal ceremony was followed by lunch in Fusion’s Altitude & Edge restaurants. The Insurer closed its offices for the day to accommodate attendance by all hardworking employees and agents.
