Earle Bethell

Director

Earle Bethel is the Island Operations Director of Castaway Cay. Prior to his employment with Disney Cruise Lines, he had a lengthy career in the hospitality industry in The Bahamas having served as General Manager of the Hope Town Harbour Lounge, Comfort Suites Paradise Island Resort and Baha Mar Resort. Mr. Bethel also worked in a management capacity at the Wyndham Resort and the Nassau Beach Hotel.

Mr. Bethel served as Director of The Bahamas Hotel Association, the Cable Beach Hotel Association and the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board. He was a trustee for the Employee Assistance Fund, The Bahamas Hotel Management Pension Fund and also served as President of The Bahamas Cancer Society.

He graduated Cum Laude from Morris Brown College with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Mr. Bethel holds a certification from the General Manager’s Program at Cornell University, as well.
