Nassau, The Bahamas, November 2, 2024 – Team Colina attended the 28th Annual Red Ribbon Ball under the theme “Diamonds and Pearls” in support of The Bahamas AIDS Foundation at the Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island.

Colina has been a leading corporate sponsor of the Ball since inception when its legacy company, Imperial Life Financial, envisioned and pioneered the event which has become a major fundraiser for The Bahamas AIDS Foundation.

The Red Ribbon Ball is the Foundation’s main fundraiser, serving as one of the ways the public is encouraged to support the never-ending work of the Foundation.

About The Bahamas AIDS Foundation

The AIDS Foundation of The Bahamas was founded in 1992 by the Zonta Club of Nassau with support from Dr. Perry Gomez, Director of the National AIDS Programme. Its mission is to provide education, awareness, prevention, and support for people living with HIV/AIDS. Since 1994, Colina (Imperial Life) has been a major partner, hosting the annual Red Ribbon Ball, the Foundation’s key fundraiser. In 1997, Colina donated property for the Foundation’s offices, where it also houses a food and clothing bank and offers space for other NGOs.
