Nassau, The Bahamas, December 9, 2023 – Colina Insurance Limited (Colina) hosted a holiday party for Special Olympic athletes at Stapledon School on Dolphin Drive.

“At Colina, we are determined to make a positive impact in our community by promoting health and wellness and building a brighter, more inclusive future,” said Maxine V. Seymour, Director, Corporate Communications, Colina. “We cannot think of a group more deserving than these incredible athletes who represent our country with pride and excellence at international events, like the world games where they won multiple medals this past summer.”

“Colina made it possible for us to have a Christmas party in 2023,” said Gilbert Williams, National Director, Special Olympics Bahamas.

The outdoor event featured all the traditional holiday fixings, and included karaoke, dancing and face painting, creating an exciting atmosphere for the athletes who competed for hoopla prizes.

“Colina’s amazing volunteers made this event a success, by providing genuine service with a smile,” said Seymour. “We had so much fun with the athletes, who are just bursting with personality and really know how to have a good time.”

“Our athletes enjoyed themselves as usual and the setting and service made everyone feel really SPECIAL,” said Williams.
