Nassau, The Bahamas, March 4, 2020 – Colina Insurance Limited’s Executive Vice Chairman, Emanuel Alexiou, and Board Member, Anthony Ferguson, recently received the founders’ award at General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA) International Bahamas’ inaugural awards banquet.

“We salute our founders and all of the honourees on this distinction from GAMA,” said Maxine Seymour, Director, Corporate Communications, Colina. “Mr. Alexiou and Mr. Ferguson have done a remarkable job building a company that provides quality insurance and investment products to meet the needs of its policyholders.”

Alexiou and Ferguson were among five other honourees who received awards from GAMA for their influential work in the insurance field. Dr. Keith Major received a lifetime achievement award for his years of service and management within the industry.

The banquet, which was held on February 29 at Baha Mar, established a GAMA branch in The Bahamas making it the organization’s eighth international branch.
