Colina at RM Bailey’s Career Day
Students Learn About Jobs in InsuranceNassau, The Bahamas, November 19, 2019 – Colina Employees exposed students from RM Bailey Senior High School to the diverse array of career opportunities offered in the insurance industry during their career day yesterday.
Students quizzed Company representatives about their educational and professional experiences and shared with them future career aspirations as soon-to-be graduates.
“High school represents a time of self-discovery,” said Maxine Seymour, Director, Corporate Communications, Colina Insurance Limited. “Colina volunteers were thrilled by the opportunity to interact with these impressionable young persons and do our part to help them maximize their future potential.”
“In quest to motivate and inspire students to pursue their dreams and fulfill their destiny, we believed that they [were] able to benefit greatly from [Colina’s] wealth of knowledge and expertise of its business,” said Collin Johnson, Principal, RM Bailey Senior High School.
Vernice Miller, Head of the Guidance Department of the R. M. Bailey Senior High School, and the rest of the team of counselors, organized Career Fair Day which was themed “Taking Initiative Empowering Success, T.I.E.S.” and held at the School campus on Robinson Road in New Providence.
