Nassau, The Bahamas – Colina Insurance Limited (Colina) continues its commitment to supporting health and wellness in The Bahamas with a $10K donation to The Bahamas Sickle Cell Association (BSCA), during Sickle Cell Awareness Month, in September, to help fund critical initiatives such as free sickle cell screening for children and adults, as well as financial aid for individuals living with sickle cell disease, also known as ‘warriors.’

“We are proud to partner with The Bahamas Sickle Cell Association, to foster healthier communities, and this donation will play a vital role in helping BSCA continue its impactful work” said Maxine V. BSCA heightens efforts during the month to raise awareness and expand its community-based services include pain management education and support groups for those affected by the disease.
