Ready, Set, Go! Colina Supports Bahamas Roadmasters Running Club
Insurer Sponsors 10th Annual Bahamas Half MarathonNassau, The Bahamas, October 4, 2022 – Colina Insurance Limited is a Silver Sponsor of the 10th Annual Bahamas Half Marathon to be held by The Bahamas Roadmasters Running Club.
“We are thrilled to support The Bahamas Roadmasters’ Annual Half Marathon,” said Maxine V. Seymour, Director, Corporate Communications, Colina. “Colina is commitment to the health and wellness of our communities and fitness and athleticism are extremely important aspects of overall wellbeing.”
“Our employee volunteers will manage water stops along the route, assisting with distribution to participants. Others will participate in the marathon including our very own Anthony Longley who has been a member of The Bahamas Roadmasters Running Club for many years,” said Seymour.
A team of five will represent Colina at the event. The 10th Annual Bahamas Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 beginning at Arawak Cay through West Bay Street. Participants will enjoy a day of road racing including a Half Marathon, Half Marathon three-person relay, 10K and 5K Family Run. Part proceeds from the event will be donated to FOAM (Families of All Murdered Victims) and Way of Life Organization.

Members of Bahamas Roadmasters meet and train to compete in various local and international racing events. During travels internationally, members were inspired to give back to the local community. Thousands of dollars are collected and donated each year to the selected charities. In the past these organizations included, the AIDS Camp, The AIDS Foundation and The Pilot Club of Nassau-Pool for the Disabled.
