Nassau, The Bahamas, November 28, 2019 – Colina Insurance Limited is proud to announce its sponsorship of the fourth annual ACE Diabetes Expo scheduled fro tomorrow.

The event will focus on the seven areas of diabetes management: healthy eating, active lifestyle, medication, monitoring, healthy coping, problem-solving and risk reduction. Health screenings and healthy cooking demonstrations, along with other educational and engaging activities will be offered. There is no admission charge for this community initiative.

“By supporting the ACE Health Expo Colina is positively affecting the lives of hundreds of Bahamians. This event, now occurring for the fourth time, has a proven record of success and is steadily growing each year,” said Anita Cates, Founder, ACE Diabetes.

The ACE diabetes expo is the latest of a string of events that Colina has sponsored that were centered around health and wellness in recent months. Colina sponsored the Sweat Fete and Walk for the Cure cancer awareness fundraisers and The Bahamas AIDS Foundations’ Red Ribbon Ball. The company also partnered with the Walk-In Medical Clinic and Alexiou Knowles Counsel & Attorneys to host a free wellness and legal clinic for those affected by Hurricane Dorian after the storm.

All members of the public are invited to attend the Health Expo which is scheduled for this Saturday, November 30, at the Baha Mar Convention Center beginning at 10:00 in the morning.
